Earlier in a tweet pod2g, confirmed (via iDownloadBlog) that he is working on a jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 on A5 Devices. This is good news for anybody who wants to jailbreak but just bought a device preloaded with 5.1.1 or accidentally upgraded.This is great news for anybody who jailbreaks, but likewise bad news for Apple. New iPad Running iOS 5.1.1 Jailbroken

It hasn’t been even been a day to the release of iOS 5.1.1 and iOS hacker ion1c (Stefan Essar) has been (via iFans) able to successfully put the Cydia icon onto the new iPad’s springboard. That was most definitely quick!
But from what it seems like, they’re most likely to enjoy the jailbreak with themselves rather than releasing it to the crowd and spare the public tool for iOS 6.
